FWG-711

SPEB-7 FWG-711 grade has been specially developed for the footwear industry.

Application

SPEB-7 FWG-711 is suitable for fixing inner linings : leather to leather, leather to insole , insole to midsole and socks to insole. It is also suitable for bonding soles made of neolite rubber, leather, microcellular rubber to uppers made of leather, rubber and synthetic fabric.

Method of Use

Ensure that the surface to be bonded is clean and dry. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease etc. Apply the adhesive on both surfaces evenly and allow drying for 5-10 mins or until just “dry to touch”. Now join both surfaces and press well for about 6-8 hours to get a strong and perfect bond. Care should be taken to avoid trapping of air during joining.

Note :

Workable bond strength of the joint will be achieved after sometime, but maximum strength will occur only after the solvent has completely evaporated which takes between 12-24 hours depending on the porosity of the surface.

Precautions :

SPEB-FWG-711 should be stirred well before use. The lid of the container must be tightly closed after use and should be kept away from heat and direct sunlight.
